Champions for Children’s mission is to build stronger families with thriving children throughout Tampa Bay through child abuse prevention and family education programs. Cap Ex Advisory Group is providing Specialty Consulting services for CFC as the organization seeks to transition its programs and administrative services to a new centralized location in Tampa. The project’s first phase included a comprehensive feasibility study, led by Cap Ex, to identify space and financing needs. This phase involved conducting a preliminary site and zoning analysis, development of several space programming diagram scenarios for building and site design, and financial modeling. The goal is to find a location that best serves CFC’s mission while meeting its operational requirements for expansion.

Cap Ex is also assisting CFC in assessing financing options, including the viability of using New Markets Tax Credits. This includes working with CFC’s partners and stakeholders to develop a strategic roadmap for acquiring a new site. The project will ensure CFC can continue to serve its community while optimizing space and resources for its expanding programs. Cap Ex’s guidance through this crucial early phase will lay the foundation for a successful relocation and facility development process.
